Speaking Engagements

Women in tech are hungry for financial advice.
Happily, I love hearing people’s stories and demystifying money.

Bring me into your company or organization to talk with women in tech about the issues they care about: stock compensation, balancing competing financial demands, their 401(k), and their role in the tech industry.

I am based in Bellingham, WA and am happy to travel to you. I am also available for video presentations, if you’re far away or simply prefer the Virtual Meg.

Is Your 401(k) in Alignment?

We go to the mechanic to make sure our tires are aligned. We go to the chiropractor to make sure our spine is aligned. Make sure your 401(k) is aligned, too!

Your 401(k) can be a core piece of your future financial strength. But it’s just one piece of your financial puzzle, not the whole thing. Should you use your company’s 401(k)? How much should you contribute? What should you invest in? How do you know if you are making a mistake that could undercut your financial future?

Learn how to use your 401(k) optimally for your specific financial situation and vision of the future.

Benefit from Your Stock Options Without Risking Your Financial Strength.

Do you worry that you might do the wrong thing with your stock options and miss out on a big payday…or waste your money on a company that goes nowhere?

With stories from my own life in tech and from clients I’ve helped with their stock options, I teach you how stock options work, and how to position them in the bigger picture of your total financial life. You can pursue the financial possibilities without putting your finances at undue risk.

Strategies for women in tech to strengthen their finances

Financial strength and security depends not just on prudent financial planning, but also on professional success. And that can be a challenge for women in the tech industry. What are you doing to strengthen your career? I discuss various strategies for boosting your career success, and translating that into financial progress.

People are often uncomfortable with their personal finances. And I get it! It can be scary, overwhelming, and booooring. Although it’s a serious topic, when I talk about finances, I don’t take myself too seriously (some people have even accused me of being witty) and I only use big words when they’re Just Plain Awesome.

How much does it cost?

$100 – $500, depending on the duration, location and enrollment.
